My company has purchased several of these heaters to be installed in Yamaha Vikings. While this heater will not get as hot as some others, it will take the "chill" off. Lets just say you get a lot considering the price.

Heater works good, defrost works best when closing main heater vents otherwise blows through very little.. installing it was a bit troublesome,,tight tolerances to work with, but can be done with patience, not sure what a dealer charges to install but in my opinion if around $100... Have them do it.

I highly recommend this heater. It can be installed by any one if you can turn a wrench and follow instructions. Be very careful drilling holes these are next to some critical wiring harness. Great heater, nice and warm plowing this winter in New England.GO PATS!!!

Heater works excellent, very easy to install. Some of the installation requires getting your hands into difficult positions especially if you have hands that look like baseball gloves; be very careful not to drop the clip off of the temperature control.

So far the heater works as advertised. It fit in the Viking fine, all of the components to install the unit are included. The hole saw for the 3in. duct could be a little smaller, and you need to be very careful as to where the placement of the defroster ducts which is noted in the instructions. Overall I believe it to be a good product. So far it keeps the windshield clear and cab warm enough for cold weather use.
