These two piece windshields by GCL for your Can Am Commander or Maverick are made of 1/4" Lexan which is much stronger then 3/16" versions that bow at high speeds. The windshield is installed with qty. 6 quick disconnect clamps to secure the full windshield to your Can Am UTV. Once the clamps are installed the first time, they are never removed again. There is a thumb screw that secures the windshield to each of the clamps. You can remove or reinstall just the lower portion of the windshield on those warmer days or the whole windshield in just a few minutes with the thumb screws. These GCL windshields include rubber edging to help seal the small gaps and to protect you machine in the off chance it rubs on the body.
