Fitment issues with EMP Glass Windshields Wolverine X2 RSpec, July 18, 2019

Build quality of the item is quite good and the mounting brackets work and install well. this issue with this windshield is that it does not fit well in overall height - the width is perfect though, To "make" it fit you must remove the hardware from the OEM roof center forward attachment points (bars that extend forward from the roll bar to the forward edge of the roofline) , you must also remove the center molded plastic roll bar mount retainer and leave it loose. Once you have accomplished this you have to force/jam the windshield up under the OEM roof basically lifting it about 1/2 ro 1 inch in the center... I was able to fabricate rubber stand offs for the front OEM roof brackets (2) and used new longer stainless steel hardware to re-attach the roof at those locations.. At the center roll bar molded plastic roll bar mount I built up that area using neoprene rubber weather stripping , reinstalled the metal roll bar bracket, and again, used new longer stainless steel hardware.. For 600$ it should fit much more easily and I do not believe the average joe schmoe could install this item without considerable trouble as I am a certificated aircraft mechanic as well as I did a stint as a mechanic at a large Yamaha Dealership which gave me a bit of a leg up install wise. Once again, for the money it should be easier to install. I have had 3 other UTVs that I have installed windshields on, all with plastic front windshields, without this much trouble.
