Made things simple small changes, August 12, 2016

Satisfaction with the kit all around, made things simple to install and did a few minor changes to the kit. The kit is great, however the whole sizes they say to drill for the snorkels are big. We drilled it the size of the pipe in reverse then drilled the edges to make a tight fit. Then we added pipe to make the snorkels taller and changed the angle of the ports from a 90 to a 45, so no worries about water when washing. Then I didn't like the idea of drilling into a roll cage and running the radiator line thinking it would be ugly and cause future damage and possibly weakening. We put a small one way valve and tied it in to the bottom side of the dry box. Then we wrapped the u-bolts for the mounting plate in left over clear hose, not to make noise, and also cut the u-bolts down. Overall satisfied with the kit, just minor improvements. Just be sure to silicone the clutch box and air intake on these RZRz, they leak even with the grease.
