Reliable materials like chromoly steel make up the metal components on the axles for Can-Am Defender X mr side by sides. The CV joints are lubricated with temperature and friction-resistant grease. For protection, Dupont rubber compounds make up the boots that cover the CVs. They are held into place with anti-rust clamps.
